In today’s world, faith is often spread digitally. Apps offer daily scripture readings, congregations live-stream their worship services, and prayer groups meet through Zoom. As religion inhabits the virtual sphere, it becomes more prudent for faith-based organizations to meet community members and donors where they are – online.
One key way to do this is through digital reports. By featuring compelling stories of local impact, impressive numbers, and interactive elements, you can engage your audience, inspiring them to donate with a digital report that uplifts your spiritual values.
Check out these three reports from faith-based organizations that clearly and cleanly showcase their impact.
1. St. Vincent De Paul Louisville
This church-affiliated organization produced its 2023 impact report digitally, showcasing its mission to house and feed those in need. With quotes, photos and videos from real beneficiaries, this report gives a direct look into the way this organization is changing its clients’ lives. Diagrams throughout the report visually display the number of people impacted by the nonprofit’s services.
This report also features a section that thanks the organization’s volunteers and another that recaps the year’s biggest programs it hosted. The donor listing at the end of the report is formatted in clean, organized rows so it’s easy to read despite featuring so many names.
This multicultural church made its 2023 annual report completely virtual. An opening message from the pastor sets the tone for the piece while sections named after Bible verses show how the church’s community outreach programs are reflective of Christian values.
Videos included throughout let readers relive the year’s major events, and statistics about new members and rituals show how the congregation is growing and thriving. The donate button on the last slide makes it easy for parishioners to give and support their community.
3. Jewish Federation of Delaware
This Jewish nonprofit’s 2024 impact report is fully online, featuring many pages for each of its affinity groups, as well as sections about the organization’s impact locally and in Israel. The text is displayed in a large, easy to read font on contrasting backgrounds, making it accessible for all readers. Although this report has many sections, the text is concise and formatted cleanly in color blocks so it reads quickly.
This report includes lots of real photos and understandable charts about financials. It thanks community leaders and the organization’s professional team, and ends with a statement of gratitude to donors.
