General

Yearly is an annual, recurring subscription to create unlimited digital reports. You have an option to pay annually upfront (and save 20%) or pay each month, for 12 consecutive months. Once you hit your annual renewal date, your Yearly subscription will automatically renew with the credit card on file in your account. As a reminder, you will receive an alert via email a few weeks ahead of time.

Yearly is priced for nonprofits and recurring annual subscription packages are outlined here. Try it free for 14 days, no credit card required.

To upgrade your Yearly subscription, login to your account and click the “Account” tab. Select the plan you’d like to upgrade to and continue checkout.

Yes, Yearly subscriptions are annual because although you might produce the report within one month, or two, it will be used and marketed all year long. While subscriptions are annual, you have the option to pay monthly (paying annually saves 20%).

Yes, all pricing displayed for Yearly subscriptions is in U. S. Dollars.

To cancel your current subscription, click into the “Account” tab within your Yearly account and click cancel.

With Yearly Pro you can create an unlimited number of reports.

No, there is no limit to the number of pages, or chapters, for your nonprofit digital reports.

Yes, you can save or print your nonprofit digital report as a web-ready PDF using Yearly Premium. You can learn exactly how it works and what it looks like here.

Yes, you can have up to 3 users with our Yearly Platinum subscription. This allows colleagues to work on the same report or other reports simultaneously.

Colleagues can provide feedback to each other and leave comments within the report builder, as well as the preview url of the report, to save time and avoid back and forth over email.

Yes, with an upgraded Yearly Platinum or Precision account includes multiple users, so you can edit a report simultaneously.

Note: Multiple users cannot edit the same section within one report at the same time. Users can create and edit other reports simultaneously.

Yes, you can cut and paste the link or embed code from any YouTube video into your report.

Yes, you can duplicate a report by clicking on the three dots on the top right of your report thumbnail on the Reports page and clicking "duplicate."

Each time you click the plus sign to add a new section, your new section will automatically be added to your table of contents, just be sure that you give your section a Title.

Yes, with Yearly Pro you can upload your licensed brand fonts and use them in all of your reports. In addition, the Yearly font library includes Google’s public domain fonts.

To change the font, highlight the text you want to change and then select the font under the Edit toolbar on the right hand side. Fonts that you have uploaded into your Brand Kit will appear at the top of the list of available fonts. 

Yes, you can save your custom brand colors by inserting the hex codes in your Brand Kit. You can use them in all of your reports and quickly click your colors as you design.

Highlight the text that you want to change, then select “Size” from the Edit toolbar on the right hand side. You can use the up and down arrows to either increase or decrease the size of your text. You can also enter a numerical value from 1-100+.

You can upload your logo to your Brand Kit.

Adding a social media post can help compliment your storytelling. To do so, drag in one of the social media blocks from the right toolbar. Then paste in your social media embed code.

Yes, you can upload any image into Yearly from your desktop or your brand kit. We also offer a wide range of images in our stock photo image library located in the Yearly builder.

Dimensions: There are no fixed dimensions for images since it changes based on the screen size. If you're planning for background visuals, it’s best for the fiscal point or subject of the image to be in the center

Sizes: Images should be no larger than 2 mb each in order to speed up the page load time for your audience.

Yes, to rearrange the order of your sections simply drag the cover page displayed on the left hand side of the builder and drop to the desired location within your report.

Yes, to copy and paste text into a block from an outside document or source, you’ll want to paste without formatting. This can be done by right clicking and selecting either 'paste without formatting' or 'paste as plain text'. In Chrome you can also go to “Edit” and choose “Paste and Match Style.”

Background images on the intro block need to be "fill" only, otherwise it will create odd layouts on tablet and mobile.

A brand kit is where you can store your brand colors, fonts, logos, and images. This allows for easy design for any reports that you create. You can upload all your assets into your brand kit and then use them within the builder as you design your report.

You can fully customize your report with fonts, colors, hiding the Yearly logo, displaying your own logo, and embedding your report on your organization’s website.

You duplicate entire sections within the table of contents or individual blocks within each section. You can duplicate an individual block by selecting “duplicate” from the editing toolbar on the right hand side.

 

Publishing

To make updates:

  1. Log in
  2. Click ॱॱॱ on the annual report you want to update
  3. Press Edit
  4. After making your edits, click the "Publish" icon

Yearly Pro users can easily grab the embed code after you press publish, which can be pasted into your own website platform to embed your report.

To publish: 

  1. Open your report
  2. Click the "Publish" icon in the right hand corner of the builder.
  3. You’ll receive a URL to share with your audience!

If you have a published report in your dashboard, you will still have access to your report – a report link will appear when you log into Yearly. You can edit this report in the previous builder (Yearly 2.0). Note: Starting on March 15th, you’ll also be able to edit published reports using the new builder.

If you’re currently in the middle of creating a report, don’t worry - you can continue working on it using the previous builder. Note: Starting on March 15th, you’ll be able to work on any draft reports using the new builder, Yearly 3.0.

Converting to web-ready PDF, if you use adobe illustrator take these actions for your images to show up properly. When editing in illustrator, make sure to UNCHECK "Import PDF pages as links for optimal performance" (see screenshot below, please).

Also, it's very important that you have the fonts installed on your computer before opening in the PDF. Otherwise, the text formatting will be off and make editing in Illustrator a challenge.
